Both EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) are evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches designed to help high-achieving professionals, entrepreneurs, and busy individuals process difficult experiences and overcome barriers that hold them back. While EMDR focuses on reprocessing traumatic memories through bilateral stimulation, ART uses guided visualization and structured protocols to quickly “rewrite” distressing experiences.
At Path to Growth Therapy, we utilize therapies that align with our clients’ unique needs, lifestyles, and goals. Both modalities provide accelerated healing, tangible relief, and the tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional triggers effectively. Whether you choose EMDR or ART—or a combination of both—our concierge-style, online sessions are tailored to your pace and priorities, helping you achieve meaningful personal growth and clarity without compromising your demanding schedule.
Reprocessing & Reframing – Helps the brain reframe and neutralize overwhelming memories, creating new, healthier perspectives.
Rapid Emotional Relief – Quickly reduces distress from trauma, anxiety, and stressful life experiences
With over a decade of experience guiding clients through EMDR therapy, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly emotional distress, trauma, and stuck patterns can begin to shift when the right approach is applied. EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) complement each other beautifully—both target the brain’s natural ability to reprocess and reframe challenging experiences, yet ART offers an accelerated, results-oriented pathway for those seeking faster relief.
Enhanced Resilience – Builds coping skills and emotional regulation to manage future challenges more effectively.
Accelerated Healing – Both modalities are designed for faster results compared to traditional talk therapy, ideal for high-achieving or busy clients.
Extended Time, Deeper Work – The models call for extended session allowing for deeper focused work on specific issues.

How EMDR & A.R.T. Therapy Works
How I do EMDR & A.R.T Virtually with Clients
Choosing between EMDR and ART depends on your goals, your readiness, and what feels like the best fit for your healing journey. Both modalities are highly effective for trauma, grief, phobias, anxiety, and even triggers around substance use, but they are not recommended for everyone. For example, clients who are currently unstable, or lacking basic coping and grounding skills may need to build a stronger foundation before beginning these approaches.
At Path to Growth Therapy, EMDR treatment begins as early as intake—not just with the processing phase, but with essential resourcing and stabilization. This phase may take longer for some clients, especially those who need to strengthen grounding, emotional regulation, or distress tolerance. We’ll work together to identify where you are, what you need, and build the necessary skills so that when you are ready for EMDR or ART, the process is safe, effective, and transformative.
You’re driven, successful, and used to holding it all together—yet behind the polished exterior, there may be parts of you that feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected. At Path to Growth Therapy, I tailor every session to you—not just with one approach, but by integrating evidence-based and experiential methods that actually fit your life. That might mean using informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand the different parts of yourself, or somatic and mindfulness techniques to calm the body when stress and anxiety spike. We might work through stuck trauma with EMDR or ART, while layering in top-down methods like CBT to challenge the thoughts that keep you second-guessing yourself. This isn’t a cookie-cutter process—it’s about building a toolkit that lets you show up in your life with more clarity, balance, and confidence.
For many of my clients—entrepreneurs, leaders, and helpers alike—success hasn’t erased old wounds, and sometimes the very traits that make them high performers also keep them trapped in cycles of overwork, self-doubt, or disconnect in relationships. That’s where deeper work comes in. Together, we might use narrative therapy to reframe the stories that shape you, inner child and reparenting work to heal the past, or pull in ACT and DBT skills to build resilience and regulation in the present. Every piece of this process is strengths-focused and culturally aware, because the goal isn’t just symptom relief—it’s rewriting your relationship with yourself so you can stop getting in your own way and start thriving on your terms.
Even the most successful people hit walls—old trauma, stress, and patterns that quietly sabotage their life and work. At Path to Growth Therapy, we help you cut through the noise and reclaim your focus, energy, and confidence. With EMDR and ART, you’ll process what’s holding you back, release what no longer serves you, and move forward with clarity, power, and freedom.
